Fate in Motion

The way you say I love you
Sounds a lot like your goodbye
Your word for us is yesterday
You break me down inside

You tell me that you have to fly
And I ask you to take me too
Your way of leaving me behind
Is to remind me that I love you

We're pushing hard and holding tight
Clinging to our one last hope
I'm beyond the breaking point
This time I just can't cope

A coin sets our fate in motion
You're all set to run away
And I'm lost in space and empty skies
No star to light my way
