Keep Me Warm

Whitewashed walls
Of empty rooms
Shadows closing in
Cold steel table
Bright harsh lights
A chair that's not for sitting in

Did you save me
Am I rescued
Am I safe now
Keep me warm

Drifting in and out
Of sanity
Looking for just one shred
I can hear your voice
Telling me
It's all just in my head

Did you save me
Am I rescued
Am I safe now
Am I home

Broken mirror
Shattered image
No writing on the wall
Vision clearing
Voices fading
Were you ever there at all

The air gets crowded
Hard to think
More here than just myself
The things I do
The pain I cause
Are the hands of someone else
